As the summer heat subsides, it’s a perfect time to find your new favorite fall traditions. These regional outdoor activities are fun and can get you moving.

Fall Festivals and Fairs

Put on your favorite fitness tracker and head out to a fall festival or fair. These events provide a fun mix of local culture, music and fun, and each gives you a chance to rack up those steps and spend time with friends and family. Here is a sampling of these events in our region to consider:

  • Zombie-thon 5K, Oct. 24 in Rome, Georgia
