Lisa Brooks has served the North Georgia areas health care needs since 1996. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1996 from UT Chattanooga and a Masters of Science in Nursing in 1998 from Vanderbilt. She has a special interest in diabetes management as well as chronic disease processes, and has been certified in Advanced Diabetes Management since 2004. In 2011, Lisa earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Vanderbilt University. The Nursing Practice doctorate recognizes practice scholars as leaders in bringing evidence-based knowledge into clinical nursing and improving health care outcomes. She serves as Adjunct Faculty at Vanderbilt University, providing guest lectures in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety and Management of Healthcare Organizations and Systems.
Lisa is active in community service in the communities of Catoosa and Walker Counties. She is a competitive archer, winning multiple local, state and national tournaments.
